The company operates as a cooperative that, together with its members and affiliates, engaged in the wholesale distribution of a wide range of pharmaceutical products in Spain. With registered head office located strategically in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, the cooperative was founded in March of 1935. The company's products are used in various therapeutic areas, including central nervous system, hormones and synthetic substitutes, cardiovascular, nephrology, gastrointestinal, and other areas. It markets and supplies its products primarily to drug wholesalers; retailers and distributors, including national retail drug and food store chains; hospitals; clinics; mail order; and government agencies and managed healthcare providers, such as health maintenance organizations and other institutions.
