This Spanish sports club, founded in June of 1992, is engaged in the management of a football team. With its registered office in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, it is responsible for the management of UD Las Palmas, also known as Los Amarillos (The Yellows). Founded in 1949, UD Las Palmas had a 19-year run in the competition, ending in 1983. Its home court is the Estadio de Gran Canaria. This multi-purpose stadium has a capacity of approximately 31,250 and is used mostly for football matches. In 2010, the sports club founded an indoor football team for the Campeonato Nacional de Liga de Fútbol Indoor (National Championship Indoor Football League), staging matches at the Centro Insular de Deportes - an indoor arena in Las Palmas with a capacity of approximately 5,200 people. The sports club has numerous partners. These include SPAR, Grupo Domingo Alonso, AirEuropa, Cerveza Tropical, Hummel Sport Spain SL, Hospital Perpetuo Socorro, Cabildo de Gran Canaria, and Islas Canarias.
